Community pharmacist Pupinder Singh Ghatora of Woodlands Pharmacy on Botley Road in Oxford won Pharmacy Business Young Pharmacist of the Year Award 2008. The awards were presented by Dr Keith Ridge, Chief Pharmaceutical Officer for England and Wales and Ramniklal Solanki CBE, Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Media & Marketing Group that publishes Pharmacy Business magazine at the Pharmacy Business Awards Dinner at Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Monday 29th September.

Top award for Oxford pharmacist
OXFORD: Pupinder Singh Ghatora, owner of Woodlands Pharmacy on Botley Road, has won the title Young Pharmacist of the Year 2008.
Mr Ghatora, 30, won the title ahead of more than 5,000 candidates with judges praising his level of customer service and his innovation in developing a website, yourEpharmacy.com which allows acccess to healthcare and medicines as well as advice from a pharmacist.
He puts his success down to the fact that his pharmacy, which he has owned for three years, is like a village shop.
The award was presented by Dr Keith Ridge, chief pharmaceutical officer for England and Wales and Ramniklal Solanki, editor in chief of organisers Pharmacy Business magazine.
