Indications: Eludril mouthwash is an antibacterial and analgesic solution which inhibits dental plaque formation. Eludril mouthwash is indicated as an aid in the treatment and prevention of gum inflammation along with the maintenance of oral hygiene. This medicine is a disinfectant for the cleansing of removable dentures. Eludril mouthwash is also suitable in the management of common mouth ulcers and oral candidal infections (fungus infection) and may be used as an adjuvant treatment for minor infections of the throat.
Directions: As a mouthwash dilute 10 to 15 ml of Eludril solution in the measuring-cup provided for this purpose and fill with lukewarm water up to the upper line and use it 2 or 3 times a day. Refer to the diagram on the package insert. As a disinfectant for removable dentures, prepare a 1 in 3 dilution of Eludril with water and soak the denture previously cleansed in the solution for one hour. Eludril Mouthwash is contra-indicated in persons known to be sensitive to either chlorhexidine gluconate or chlorobutanol.
